Over the last several weeks, we've heard all of the Pro-Choice groups complain about the commercial sponsored by "Focus on the Family," a Christian based group. The commercial is about Pam Tebow and the choice she made to have her son, Tim Tebow, when doctors told her and her husband that Tim, while in the womb, was only "massive fetal tissue." The commercial is about celebrating life, Tim's life.
Tim Tebow has become one of the most famous, and may very well be the most famous in history, college football player of all time, and the first sophomore in history to win the Heisman Trophy. He led his team, the Florida Gators, to win their second national championship in three years. He was the first college football player both to rush and pass for 20 touchdowns in a season. He is a miracle baby as Pam Tebow testifies.
Before Tim was born, Bob and Pam Tebow traveled to the Philippines on a missionary trip where Pam became ill and the medicines she took the doctors said would have caused sever damage to the fetus. Pam did not take the doctors advice to terminate the pregnancy, but instead chose life over death, and gave the baby a chance to live. The Tebows took their chances, knowing that all was in God's hands, and what ever he had in mind for that baby, they would make sure it was carried out. God never makes mistakes. We have to remember that all things he creates are perfect, only man is flawed.
No one knew what the commercial would look like, nor what it would say, but the talking heads and the women's rights groups began to come out of the woodwork like roaches. They crawled out from under their rocks screaming that CBS should not allow the commercial to air because it would set back women's rights and it took away the right for women to have control over their reproductive organs. What these women don't realize is that we do not have ownership over this body, God does. But it's funny that the law says it's against the law to take your own life, but it's fine to take the life of the one inside of you.
You can get years in prison for destroying and eagles egg, but the human egg, already taking form, is more than welcome to be killed. How messed up is that thinking? Every child is a gift, it only comes in a different wrapping, but when you take the wrapping off, you discover the most wonderful and perfect gift--life, love, and forgiveness.
The Pro-Choice people are all right when women make the wrong choice to kill a child, but they are up in arms when women choose to have the children. They need to read the real woman behind Margaret Sanger, the founder of the group that eventually became to be known as "Planned Parenthood," they may not like what they see.
Sanger was a woman obsessed with eugenics. It was from her own experiences with family and motherhood that she came to the conclusion that all women should feel as she did, and went on to destroy not only families, but races as well. www.blackgenocide.org/sanger.html
The Super Bowl ran the ad and it held nothing that would be considered controversial, and the only thing the women's rights groups could complain about is that it promoted violence against women. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Tebow-s-Focus-on-Family-ad-could-change-future-S?urn=nfl,218119
However, they were fine with the ad that showed Betty White being plowed down by a football player. Oh, I guess maybe violence against old women is all right. You be the judge. Who actually has the problem?
